Worldwide Shipping
We offer worldwide shipping. At Charkha Tales, we take great care in delivering your products to you and have partnered with reputed national and international couriers.
Maximum delivery time: 7–15 working days.
Our handmade articles are unique in their own way. Please note that small variations may occur because of the human involvement in the making process.
Differences in colour, irregular weave, print or stitching are natural characteristics of artisanal products and should not be considered defects.
Our logistics partners deliver shipments between Monday through Sunday, 9am to 7pm.
Normally, orders placed before 1pm on a business day are aimed to be shipped the same day, provided card security checks are complete, payment has been received and stock availability is confirmed.
Delivery time is subject to factors beyond our control, including unexpected or unforeseen travel delays from our courier partners, bad weather conditions, strikes and other circumstances.
Orders received on Sunday or during holidays are dispatched the following Monday or next working day.
During busy periods, such as holidays, there may be additional processing and shipping delays. Orders requiring engraving or customization may require additional time.
Tracking
An email containing your package tracking information will be sent after your order has been shipped.
Gift Wrapping
We offer complimentary gift wrapping and a personal message for our customers. Simply contact us with your request.
Size & Fabric Care
The size chart mentioned under each designer category should be followed. Customized tailoring is available.
Fabric care details are mentioned on the relevant product page. Khadi garments should be washed with like colours and Khadi Silks should be dry cleaned.

Cancellation
Customers can cancel an order within 24 hours of placing the order.
Replacement & Exchange Policy
This policy is applicable to both domestic and international orders, subject to the conditions mentioned below.
Gift Coupon Only: We only issue gift coupons. No standard return is available.
Irregularities in pattern, weaving, colour, block, design and similar characteristics are a natural outcome of artisanal handmade products.
For eligible exchanges, we will issue an equal-value Gift Card. The gift card will remain valid for 1 year from the date of issuance.
Before Requesting an Exchange
To avoid exchanges, please refer to the size guide before purchasing. If you have further questions regarding size or measurements, please contact our customer service team.

Important: Only regular-priced products are eligible for exchange. Items listed as sale or discount products are not covered under this category. Please check exchange eligibility carefully before purchasing.
Our team must receive and approve your exchange request. Once your request is received and approved, we will issue the applicable gift card.
Reverse Shipping
If reverse shipping is not available at your pincode, we may ask you to courier the product through a safe courier carrier to our address.

International Shipping
Items shipped to countries outside India may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees imposed by the destination country.
The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all applicable import fees.
Where import duty fees have been calculated, you authorize Charkha Tales to designate a courier company or freight forwarder to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country.
The courier company may collect import duties on or before delivery.
International delivery: approximately 15–20 days.
International Exchanges
We cannot offer merchandise exchanges on orders shipped internationally.
International Refunds
Refunds, where applicable, are only available if the product is damaged. Our refund policy lasts 7 days from the date of acceptance of the shipment by the customer.
To request a refund for a damaged product, please email details of the damage along with clear images of the damaged product and its barcode to iwkads@gmail.com .
Our team will review the request and respond with the applicable refund details.

For products shipped internationally, please note that manufacturer warranties may not be valid and manufacturer service options may not be available in the destination country.
Product manuals, instructions and safety warnings may not be available in the language of the destination country.
Products may not be designed according to destination-country standards, specifications or labelling requirements.
You are responsible for ensuring that the product can be lawfully imported into the destination country.
When ordering from Charkha Tales, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations applicable in the destination country.
Privacy & Customs
Your privacy is important to us, and we understand that you care about how information relating to your order is used and shared.
International and cross-border shipments may be subject to opening and inspection by customs and/or postal authorities.
We may provide certain order, shipment and product information, such as product titles, to our international carriers.
Carriers may communicate this information to customs and/or postal authorities when required to facilitate customs clearance and comply with applicable local laws.
